I know I sound like a broken record, but I love being able to capture families as they grow and this sweet family is no exception! Baby Graham was the sweetest and calm baby for his lifestyle newborn session this past fall and his three older siblings were so excited to love on him. I have had the honor of photographing the Laffitte family a handful of times over the years, starting from when Finn (the oldest son) was just a toddler and they are always so lovely to work with! It was such a full circle moment to take their first family portraits as a family of six.
Big families are so fun to capture and a nice change of pace! The middle son, Tate, is now a big brother and he is full of personality and energy! It is crazy to me that I captured him as a newborn 5 years ago right before the Covid shutdown. He is at that age where he still has an abundance of energy but we can kind of corral him into stillness for a few moments, haha! He brought all the fun and silliness, he definitely kept us on our toes and kept us all laughing, I wouldn't have it any other way! :)
Graham has a stunning nursery and it was the perfect backdrop for his newborn session with his family. The white walls and soft colors helped them be the main focus (which is always my main goal!) and the neutral outfits and tied everything together. Mama's blue and white floral dress was a stand out, she looked absolutely stunning! These portraits are so classic and timeless, I couldn't love them more.
As always, enjoy!

The balance you struck between theory and practice was perfect, providing enough background to understand the "why" while giving enough instruction to handle the "how."

I’ve read a lot of professional journals and industry blogs on this topic, but none of them managed to capture the human element of the issue quite as effectively as you did here, adding a layer of empathy that made the logic even more persuasive.

I wanted to take a moment to truly commend you on the incredible depth and structural integrity of this piece, as it is rare to find content that balances such high-level technical expertise with a narrative flow that remains engaging from the very first sentence to the final concluding thought.
