Baby Rory | Lifestyle In-Home Newborn Session

I've had the pleasure of watching miss Madeline grow over the past couple years and it has been such a joy to get to know this precious family. I was absolutely thrilled when Brielle reached out to me to capture her second child's maternity and lifestyle newborn session as well! Baby Rory was so little and adorable, he did so well for his newborn session and he was so content and snuggly! I feel so honored to get to know each of you and watch your families grow.

To keep it real, big sister Madeline wasn't a big fan of taking pictures at first (haha) but all toddlers have a mind of their own and it doesn't surprise me in the least when things don't go perfectly! A newborn session with a toddler will go a little bit different than your first, as the toddler will run the show! This is a reminder to go into a photo session with low expectations and go with the flow. We played games, gave her space when needed, encouraged her to join in with silliness, and let her lead. When she was ready we were able to capture some beautiful portraits! :)

We photographed Rory's lifestyle newborn session in their beautiful home and in Rory's nursery. Their light and bright bay window seat was the perfect spot for portraits, and the sunlight streaming through was a photographer's dream come true! Brielle looked absolutely stunning and, as always, she does a beautiful job coordinating everyone's outfits to flow seamlessly. The love they have for their little boy is so lovely to watch!
