Where to start with this precious family? I loved getting to meet them this past summer to capture their sweet new addition to their crew, baby Conrad! The Laird family's home was so gorgeous, I had a lot of fun finding new ways to incorporate their home into the photos and finding the best pockets of light. One of my favorite rooms was Conrad's nursery, it had the best soft light and made my photographer's heart happy! I had so much fun documenting them as a new family of four.
Big brother did an awesome job during his little brother's newborn session! I captured some hysterical outtakes too (taking newborn photos with toddlers/young kids can be a challenge, haha). Taking photos at home can help when toddlers/young kids are involved, since they feel more comfortable being in their own space and they are welcome to get snacks/take a break when needed. I think we were able to capture so many precious images for them to remember this precious and fleeting time.
