This was such a special session from last summer and I absolutely love the photos we created together! To celebrate their baby boy Peyton about to turn one we met at one of my favorite locations for a family/milestone session--which was even more meaningful knowing the journey it took to get them where they are now. I know so many have longer journeys to parenthood and I can't imagine how hard and heartbreaking it must be to go through to grow your family. I am so happy for Mallory and her husband Michael, it was so sweet to be able to capture these two dote on their baby boy during their session, the love they have for him is so evident in each photo! The joy in these pictures just make me smile looking at them!
I also absolutely adore the colors Mallory chose for their outfits, the soft color palette was (chef's kiss) perfect for the location and made them the star of the show. These colors and tones with all of the greenery just make my heart happy! They were also such troopers since it was a pretty hot summer day but we definitely managed to create some magic regardless! All the greenery is totally worth it though and my favorite time to capture outdoor sessions. Peyton especially enjoyed playing in the tall grass, it was so cute to watch him play and explore! We wrapped up the session with a simple cake smash that was perfect for Peyton's golf themed birthday party, I think he liked it!
P.S. peep that belly in those bloomers, is there anything better than a baby in bloomers in the summertime?! I don't think so!
