Wells was an angel for his milestone session! He was 7 months old when these were taken, so the perfect age to be able to sit up and show a little bit of that adorable personality starting to come out. We took Wells' milestone session in my little in-home natural light studio, which has a cozy bed setup which is perfect for those classic closeups of their features and details which change all too quickly. I like to get a variety of shots during these sessions, so of course images of them sitting up on their own, laying on their back playing with their toes, and on their tummy (if they like tummy time, of course). And we can't forget their cute tiny feet, closeups of their big expressive eyes, and of course we can't forget the adorable hand and elbow dimples!
Mom brought a few special heirloom items that were her husband's as a baby, as well as big sister's dress (which is also a family heirloom) which I absolutely adore! I love anything vintage and meaningful so I love when clients bring clothing or items that are special to them. I think we were able to capture a little bit of Wells' babyhood to remember and cherish for the years to come! We captured lots of smiles and giggles, and some serious faces too (which are some of my absolute favorites!) The little blue knitted overalls are from Feltman Brothers and I have them available for my littlest boy clients to wear during their milestone session.
Last but not least, if baby is able to hold on to a chair while standing up we can also attempt to get some images of them standing holding on to a small stool or chair (with mom right nearby for safety). We also included big sister Indi in a few images, and they turned out so sweet! It is hard to believe I took Indi's baby portraits around the same age, and they favor each other so much! Enjoy, y'all!
