Jack Tyler | In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session

I've been holding on to this newborn session for a while and it's one of my favorites! I personally love all things classic and southern, so I fell in love with baby Jack's nursery right from the start. I loved all the classic touches and details, I couldn't help but try to photograph it all for his sweet mama to bottle up forever. These soft pastel, neutral colors just make my heart happy, such a precious space to grow up in and make memories!

I know that planning a newborn session so soon after such a big life change can be overwhelming at times, so I try to make the process as relaxed and easy as I can.

I always allow as much time as needed for baby to settle so we are able to get a variety of images and if baby ever gets hungry during the session, or needs their diaper changed we can take the time to do that. My goal is to not only provide you with beautiful images to enjoy and print, but for you to be able to look back on our time together and remember how tiny they once were, and how your love for your spouse, and new little human, seemed to only grow even more than you ever thought it could.

With taking photos of newborns, you never know how the baby will be feeling that day and even if they are fussy or awake for part of the session, I always manage to come away with so many images I know new parents will cherish forever. Babies really do grow up so quickly; the sleepless nights, the crying spells, changing diapers; it soon become a blur and a far off memory. I think that is why I love these sessions so much, you cherish these priceless memories even more in the years to come, as cheesy as that sounds. :)

The cherry on top is the love that these two new parents share for their baby boy! I think they will have a lot of fun watching him grow! At the time I am posting this, Jack is already over a year old, photographs and video really do become so much sweeter over time! . Jack's mama asked me to film a little video to go alongside their still photos, and I think it ties everything together so well. You can watch his newborn film below:
