This is the Pinkston family at their home last fall with their two energetic and sweet boys. The fall foliage was absolutely stunning in their front yard! It couldn't have been a more beautiful setting, but it was even better that they wanted real life moments captured before they moved to their new home, and that made it even more meaningful!
Mom wanted to capture her boys riding their bikes down the street, and in the home where they made so many memories over the years. Don't you just love that?! I sure do, and I definitely would love to do more of these this summer and/or fall (hopefully we can make a new normal with some social distancing in place!) Photographing two boys was a fun challenge, haha, but I don't want parents to think that sessions have to go perfectly (because let's face it life isn't perfect! Lol). I crave to document those more imperfect, real life moments and this session did that for me! So who wants me to come document their family at home, next?! You are allowed to be yourself, so if you want me to capture the kids playing in the backyard sprinklers on an ordinary Saturday, or dance in the living room, I'm up for it! Plus, you get to do fun activities with the ones you love without all the fuss and stiff poses, a win-win in my book!
Most families think in-home sessions require a newborn, but I say that is totally not true, but a squishy baby might be nice! Haha. But all jokes aside, all families are perfect for these in-home sessions!
